- First aid kit
- Flashlight
- Food—at least a 3-day supply of non-perishable, easy-to-prepare food

- Insect repellent and sunscreen

- Medications (7-day supply) and medical items (hearing aids with extra batteries, glasses, contact lenses, syringes, cane)
